Fall family programs at the Dennos Museum Center, 2013-2014
The Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College presents several family programs in conjunction with the 2013-2014 exhibition season. Family programs are held throughout the year to offer family-friendly educational opportunities in Traverse City. All programs are open to visitors with paid museum admission.
New Explore NMC blog posts follow maritime student to Alaska
Paige Jehnke is a student at NMC’s Great Lakes Maritime Academy. She is completing a sea project for the fall semester of her junior year in the engine room of the M/V Taku, a ferry which travels the Alaska Marine Highway.

Letters Home performance brings letters from soldiers to the stage of the Milliken in October
Presented with NMC Outreach Services, this performance at the Dennos Museum’s Milliken Auditorium brings to life letters written by soldiers serving in the Middle East. This event is FREE for NMC students with a student ID!

Solar education opportunities coming to NMC
This October, NMC is bundling solar energy education classes, offering four progressive courses that provide the training participants need to obtain nationally-recognized industry credentials and enter the expanding solar workforce.
