CIE reading group books for 2013-14 announced
Announcing the CIE reading group books for 2013-14: faculty/adjuncts/staff with adjunct duties can request a copy of one or the other from Joelle Hannert (library). CIE will cover the cost of one book per faculty/adjunct. A group discussion will be hosted by CIE in October.

Don’t forget, no late registration
All new: registration for fall 2013 will end at the close of the day of Friday, August 23, 2013, the day before classes begin for the fall semester. Students who have not registered for classes by that date will not be registered for classes starting in the normal 15 week semester.

Global Literature Reading Group announces chosen books- Reserve your fall semester reading today!
The NMC Global Literature Reading Group meets twice a year to discuss a book about life in another culture. The group aims to bring together NMC faculty and staff from all departments and disciplines to stimulate critical thinking, literary pleasure, awareness of global diversity and cultural interconnections.
Final date for Wings of Wonder program moves from September 15 to August 30
Wings of Wonder, located in Empire, will present “A Bird’s-Eye View: An Interactive Raptor Experience” featuring live birds on July 15, August 15, and August 30, also at the Dennos.
