Staff and faculty are encouraged to seek grants to support current programs or new innovations aligned with our strategic directions.
It is important to do the research to find out if the grant funding opportunity and your proposal are a match. If so, your draft proposal should come to your department chair and VP. From there, your VP will bring the proposal to Presidents Council for approval.
Finally, your proposal will be submitted through our NMC Foundation. The Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization and is the fundraising arm of the College. All grants, with the exception of government grants, must be submitted by the Foundation as the applicant.
If you are seeking a grant of less than $5,000, please talk to your VP first. We may consider internal funding for the first year, rather than an external proposal.Thank you for considering a grant proposal to support the great work at NMC. If you’d like to learn more about fund development, please talk to your VP or Rebecca Teahen, Executive Director of the NMC Foundation.
