If you haven’t yet, you need to pick up the new Global Literature Reading Group book, The Orphan Master’s Son, by Adam Johnson. It provides a glimpse into the bizarre world of modern day North Korea. Huffington Post calls it “an incredibly vivid page-turner of a novel…Romance, coming-of-age tale, adventure and thriller all in one, this book is singular and not to be missed.”
A book discussion will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014, from noon to 1:30 in the West Hall Conference Room. Copies of the book are available from Tina Ulrich in the library for the subsidized price of $5. For more information, contact Tina at tulrich@nmc.edu or 995-1063. (more…)
