Showing appreciation for our veterans, NMC Veteran’s Day Tribute is Nov. 11
NMC veterans are invited to take part in the Veteran’s Day Tribute with a breakfast at the Northwoods Cafeteria in West Hall followed by the Walk of Honor to a flag raising ceremony (all NMC campus community members are invited to line the path of the walk to show thanks and honor for the veterans walking), and ends with a reception at West Hall. Zonta Festival of Trees veterans and military reception, Nov 8
The Zonta Club of Traverse City and Northwestern Michigan College are sponsoring a special dessert reception for veterans and military members, Friday, November 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the annual Festival of Trees. at NMC’s Hagerty Conference Center, 715 East Front Street in Traverse City.

Tuvan throat singers Alash at Milliken on Nov. 16
The Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College will present the Tuvan throat singers Alash on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 8 PM in Milliken Auditorium.
