As a collaborative series of programs in its second year, Embrace the Dream brings together many institutions throughout the Grand Traverse region to provide free or low-cost programming for the public to experience in early 2014.
The Andy Warhol Foundation makes a major gift to the Dennos Museum Center
The Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College has been gifted a selection of seven original screen prints by the noted American artist Andy Warhol (1928-1987). The prints date from 1970-1986.The gift was made by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. This is the second gift to the collections of the Dennos by the Foundation who gifted over 150 original Polaroid photographs and gelatin silver prints by Warhol in 2008.
