As COVID-19 spreads across the world, how are vulnerable refugee populations coping with the threat? IAF brings in frontline voices for an engaging discussion. The program includes Aesa Oso, a refugee of the Syrian civil war, humanitarian worker, and interpreter; Oso lived and worked in camps on the Greek island of Lesvos. Also contributing their experiences are Traverse City locals Zoe and Talia Gerstle; both served as humanitarian workers on Lesvos and are currently pursuing respective degrees in public health and public affairs.
