Kudos to Carole McKee: To recognize International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31, Carole worked with Harm Reduction Michigan to present the documentary Bevel Up: Drugs, Users and Outreach Nursing with a panel discussion featuring Caroline Brunt, featured in the film and from the Canadian Harm Reduction Nursing Association. 2nd year nursing students were able to attend and learn more about efforts to deal with the issues of addiction, in Canada and here in Traverse City. It was a tremendous event and speaks to the professionalism and progressive approach to nursing and education that Carole brings to her students.
