The NMC Apprentice of the Year event, President Nissley’s Proclamation, apprenticeship shirts, and various treats for students throughout the week to celebrate all their accomplishments!
Kudos to Tracy Welch. Thank you to Tracy Welch for supporting the Technical Division’s National Apprenticeship Week events. She did all of the prep-work to make sure we were all set to have a successful week celebrating the NMC apprentices. Through her role in the ELI she plays an integral part in supporting the Manufacturing Apprenticeship Certificate Program. Our students, faculty, and staff appreciate her hard work and dedication to the apprenticeship population.
Kudos to Scott Goethals. Scott has helped organize several Industry Night events for NMC students this semester. Thank you for providing these valuable opportunities!

A big thank you to everyone whose combined efforts made the latest Long Night Against Procrastination a success! It’s always takes a village and this year was no exception, from providing writing and research help and success coaching to running the sign-in/raffle table, relaxation room, and LNAP’s first-ever knitting and crocheting corner, to all of the setup and cleanup work that goes into an event like this. Kudos to all the folks listed above for their generosity of time and good spirits in helping students bring the semester to a strong finish!
