NMC Magazine captures first place award
The NMC Magazine recently won first place in the Central Division of the Community College Humanities Association Annual Literary Magazine Competition 2013 Awards. A big congrats to everyone who made the magazine possible! Check out the winners list here!

NMC awards state’s first community college bachelor’s degrees
Great Lakes Maritime Academy cadets Nate Lammers and Matt O’Donnell were honored last night at a special commencement ceremony to celebrate the first two bachelor’s degrees ever awarded by a Michigan community college.
Lammers and O’Donnell earned their Bachelor of Science in Maritime Technology from NMC.

Parking permits must be displayed by Monday, Jan. 27
The Traverse City Parking Patrol began patrolling NMC on Monday, January 27, 2014. All faculty/staff and students must have their permits (expiration date June 1, 2014) displayed in the lower left hand side of their windshield by that date. Please remove all expired NMC permits. (more…)
