How? Join us for the 22nd Annual Smart Commute Week June 6-10.

What is Smart Commute Week? It’s an annual celebration, held during the first full week of June, consisting of events promoting cycling, walking, taking the bus and carpooling. Free daily breakfasts are hosted at various locations around town for smart commuters. Every year community members challenge each other to a friendly competition known as the Smart Commute Challenge.

Below is the free breakfast schedule – drop by on your way to work and let them know you are part of the NMC Team!

Breakfasts are scheduled from 7-9 a.m. and free to smart commuters:

Monday June 6

Wednesday June 8

  • BATA Transfer Station, 115 Hall St.

Thursday June 9

  • Disability Network, 415 E. Eighth St.
  • Harvest, 113 E. State St.

Friday June 10

  • Oryana, 260 E. Tenth St. – breakfast and awards ceremony, must be present to win
