Eileen Vaughn, Lisa Boike, Dan Wasson, Dan Gentry, Joe Berry, Cheri Garvin, and Kelly Carlton hosted a Banner Users Group of Michigan conference at the Hagerty Center last week. The event was a huge success. People from 20 colleges and universities throughout Michigan attended. The team received rave reviews for the planning and organization they put into the event, the sessions that were offered, and the conference facility provided.
Cari Noga does an excellent job teaching my professional communications students how to write press releases. She is always professional, enthusiastic and shares her passion with the students. This is one of the student’s favorite days. Seeing the press releases they wrote go live is a great experience they will never forget. Thank you for your help every year Cari! I know it is an extra thing you put on your calendar and that you are already busy, we appreciate it!
Kudos to the Business Office and everyone involved in the extremely clean financial audit for FY2014. The auditors ask for several items during their review and, as always, the Business Office staff was efficient and professional throughout the year resulting in a successful audit.
Thank you to all of the PDD attendees and the CIE board who generously donated items from their lunches to our Tuesday night writing workshop for folks experienced with homelessness. We and our writers, appreciate the food and your thoughtfulness.
Anndrea Terry and Gwendolyn Thurston worked tirelessly during the peak hiring of August & September, to finalize the hires and conduct the orientations of 98 new Adjunct Faculty, Supplemental Staff and Student Employees. Great work!
