Here is an informal account of the Northwestern Michigan College Board of Trustees meeting, Monday, April 20, 2015.

The trustees voted to appoint Chris M. Bott to fill the vacant seat. The term runs through December 31st, 2016.
Alex Bloye was introduced as the new Director of Aviation. Betsy Coffia was introduced as the new Director of Alumni Relations.
The Board discussed an early look at the FY16 budget with Vicki Cook.
The Board discussed EDUStaff with Marguerite Cotto and Vicki Cook.
There were several public comments on a possible partnership with EDUStaff encouraging the Board to take time on making a decision and more research.
The Board approved the consent items.
The Board agreed to entering into training agreements for the New Jobs Training Act.
The Board agreed to establishing an associates degree in Paramedics.
The Board agreed to a roof replacement.
The Board adopted a resolution of appreciation to Cheryl Gore Follette for her years of service as a trustee.

As long as you have not enrolled in Medicare Part A or B you are an eligible individual and may contribute to your HSA. Once you enroll in Medicare you may no longer contribute to your HSA. For most individuals this means you will no longer be eligible when you turn 65. You lose eligibility as of the first day of the month you turn 65. For example, if you turn 65 on July 21, you are no longer eligible for an HSA as of July 1. Your maximum contribution for that year would be 6/12 (you were eligible the first six months of the year) times the applicable federal limit (remember to include the catch-up amount in the federal limit).
