Each year the Office of Research, Planning and Effectiveness asks members of the NMC Leadership Group to evaluate the effectiveness of our system for continuous improvement also known as our Institutional Effectiveness System or IE System. We’ve been monitoring our progress with the IE System since 2010.
The results of the survey feed directly into our Quality Program Summary which we have provided the Higher Learning Commission as part of the accreditation process. Many of the survey metrics are also key to measuring the effectiveness of ORPE as part of our department A3. The combination of open and closed ended questions provide significant input which helps us check and adjust our system for continuous improvement.
Of particular note in the most current survey results is the nearly 20% increase in the level of agreement with this statement: Our Institutional Effectiveness System of continuous improvement is working where 92.3% of respondents agreed. This along with open ended question responses where members of the Leadership Group acknowledge that they are seeing clear evidence of progress, suggest that we are on the right path.
The full report is available both on the ORPE intranet pages for internal audiences as well as publicly on the NMC internet site located here.
Questions regarding the survey results can be directed to Karen Ruedinger in the Office of Research, Planning and Effectiveness at 995-1032 or via email.
