Are you or a dependent planning a trip outside of the Traverse City area? If you are enrolled in NMC’s medical insurance, you have coverage through Priority Health to a service called Assist America. If a member, spouse or dependent becomes ill or injured while traveling more than 100 miles from home or is in a foreign country, Assist America provides support with medical referrals, monitoring, evacuation, repatriation and more.
This service is available for participating members (including dependents) regardless of whether the travel is personal or work related.
To access an ID card, you can log on to www.priorityhealth.com and log into your member center page. Once logged in, go to the following webpage and click on the link to “Download your card now” in the last paragraph. This page has more information about the program itself.

You must have Priority coverage to be eligible for this service, so you need to set up a Priority Health member center account to access the card.
