The high octane, adrenaline pumping, Street Drum Corps formed in Los Angeles in 2004. This brotherhood of unsung, talented performers creates a show that is, quite simply, amazing to the eye. Street Drum Corps uses instruments such as hand drums, acoustic drum kits, buckets, kitchenware, recycled aluminum, garbage cans, marching band equipment, a moog theremin, and whatever else is within eye’s range, to create a blistering percussion show that is often described as “Punk Rock Stomp.”
People from all over the world, from all walks of life, have witnessed the SDC through their residencies at Six Flags Magic Mountain Theme Park in Los Angeles, to their performances at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Street Drum Corps who is Bobby Alt, Adam Alt and Frank Zummo, have been called “Soo good” by the New York Post, declared “A rapturous band of misfit drummers” by the Los Angeles Weekly, were featured on the cover of April 2011’s DRUM! Magazine and named 2012 Drum Ensemble of the Year by Drum! Magazine.
SDC was inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame’s “Warped Tour Exhibit.” They have performed on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, American Idol, Electric Daisy Carnival with Skrillex, World Tour with 30 Seconds To Mars, Projekt Revolution with Linkin Park, Mr. Brainwash Art Show, Taurus World Stunt Awards (AMC TV), Hell’s Kitchen (Fox TV), Hall Of Game Awards (Cartoon Network), Glee & Master Chef (Fox TV), National Lampoons Endless Bummer, My Sassy Girl (20thCentury Fox), Love Monkey (VH1), Fuse TV and Inked (A&E TV).
