Are you a scholar looking for opportunities to grow your leadership skills, serve your community, connect with other students and celebrate your academic achievements? Come learn more about Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) at our first meeting and information session at 3 p.m. on October 13 at in the Osterlin Building.
Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society that recognizes and encourages the academic achievement of community college students. PTK also provides opportunities for honors, leadership, service and fellowship, helping members develop skills and experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
At NMC, the Alpha Rho Pi Chapter is active on campus and throughout the community. Members have participated in service projects such as the National Cherry Festival and Cass Road Cleanup, as well as student- and campus-centered projects.
All scholars who are interested in learning more about PTK are invited! Food will be provided.
