To the Great Lakes Maritime Academy, for receiving a certificate of inspection for its newest vessel, the tugboat Robinson Bay, on July 2, enabling cadets to begin training aboard the donated vessel this week. The first vessel the Academy has acquired in more than 20 years, the Robinson Bay expands job opportunities for graduates of the nation’s only freshwater maritime academy as well as reducing operating costs.
