65 students and 10 faculty members completed study abroad experiences last month. Groups traveling to India (humanities) and Ireland (audio tech) returned last week. Earlier experiences visited Brazil (biology), Costa Rica (nursing) and Switzerland (culinary). Much more than a trip, all study abroad is faculty-led, experiential learning for academic credit. Four of this year’s study abroad experiences involved an aspect of service learning. Partial support is provided by the Global Opportunities Scholarship ($1,000 per student) and the NMC Foundation.
