The Experiential Learning Institute (ELI) at NMC, located in TJN Innovation Center Room 103, exists to expand experiential learning across our campuses. The purpose of experiential learning (EL) is to actively engage learners through relevant and ongoing experience, critical problem solving and reflective practices. EL provides real-world and hands-on learning opportunities, promoting preparation for a changing, diverse world.
The ELI is excited to highlight Experiential Learning Designation Courses (ELDC) in the NMC Searchable Schedule. This allows students to actively search for experiential learning courses each semester. These courses have been vetted for best practices with authentic experiences that bring learners closer to content, issues, and problems studied in courses.
