Join me in congratulating our own Creative Writing and Poetry instructor Teresa Scollon who has been named this year’s Writer-in-Residence by Traverse City’s Front Street Writers. This is a wonderful opportunity and honor for Teresa (and NMC too!)
In her role Teresa will join TCAPS educator Kerrey Woughter in co-teaching the Front Street Writers workshop, a year-long course for highly motivated and talented high school students from the local area. (Learn more here!)
Teresa’s work with Front Street Writers will take her away from NMC this semester, but current plans have her back teaching with us in the spring. Fingers crossed!
