It is always a good idea to access your individual plan through the Office of Retirement Services MiAccount: https://ssprd.state.mi.us/wss/security/login.do?method=showLogin&retirementSystemId=1030
This will allow you to see how many years of service you have accumulated, as well as, read about the specifics of your individual plan.
