The Technology Help Desk and Information Security are hosting SCARy: a cybersecurity learning experience on Wednesday, February 8 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Timothy J. Nelson Innovation Center in rooms 106/107.
This interactive rally will teach students vital steps to take to prevent cybersecurity issues. The NMC Theater class will be presenting, there will be activities to learn about phishing, webcam covers, password security, fake scholarship/debt relief and more!
There are giveaways, treats and great prizes like Doordash, Best Buy, and gas gift cards.
Please mention this event to your classes; Cybersecurity is incredibly important for college students to understand. Offer them extra credit or better yet, bring your whole class over!
