Kudos to Hollie DeWalt in Human Resources and Katie Malone in Financial Aid. Although fairly new to NMC, Katie and Hollie are very knowledgeable in their areas of expertise and very responsive to students and colleagues. They are pleasure to work with. Keep up the great work and thank you!
Kudos to the Engineering club for an outstanding idea for an innovation grant. The engineering club has proposed building an Intelligent Ground Vehicle (IGV) that would help farmers keep pests (specifically invasive wildlife) away from their crops. The Foundation Board was very impressed with the research and data provided in the Innovation Grant application as well as the presentation of the application. This IGV can be used by our local and regional vineyards and farms as well as worldwide.
