As you know, NMC embarked on a new planning process some four years ago. Our current process – Aligned Planning – utilizes the Plan, Do, Check, Adjust approach to continuous improvement and has yielded a strategic plan that is regularly reviewed and updated based on new information. These revisions help ensure that NMC is agile in responding to new opportunities and shifting priorities.
It is in this light that we are making available a revised strategic plan that includes goals and targets for FY’15 and FY’16. The document is available on the intranet located here. The revisions incorporate input from a small subgroup of Leadership Group that met back in early July at the 2014 Strategy Retreat. The document has been further revised with input from President’s Council as well as other members of the college community over the past few months.
The strategic plan provides a high level roadmap for the progress we intend to make as a campus community towards achieving our strategic directions and making continuous improvement with the institutional effectiveness criteria. This is important work that we can all have a part in achieving.
Now we are formally entering the operational planning process for FY’16. Revised operational plan A3 templates are available on the ORPE intranet site located here. Please note that we are no longer supporting the Excel vision of the A3. Please convert to the Word version with the FY’16 planning year.
