Miku Crouch transitioned from a supplemental employee in the Records and Registration office to Admissions Office Assistant on July 20, 2015. She can be reached at (231) 995-1052 or mcrouch@nmc.edu.
Miku was born and raised in Japan and met her husband Aeron who was stationed there while she was attending the University of Nagasaki. They moved to the States after she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, then they lived in California for few years, back to Japan, to Florida and finally came to Traverse City in 2013 after Aeron decided to attend Grate Lakes Maritime Academy. She loves playing piano, reading, doing yoga and cuddling with our two cats Chandler and Phoebe.
For the last two years Miku was taking accounting related courses at NMC while she worked in Records and Registration office and recently completed the courses she needed to take from NMC and FSU for her to be able to qualify to sit for the Uniform CPA examination. She will be taking the first section of the exam this Fall. (more…)

Kristy Jackson joined NMC as an Administrative Assistant in the President’s Office on July 5, 2015. She can be reached at (231) 995-1900 or kjackson@nmc.edu.
Kristy moved to Traverse City from Richmond, Indiana where she attended Earlham College and earned a Masters degree in Teaching. She worked as a high school teacher and for a non-profit youth theatre company as the Managing Director. While working in theatre, she directed over 30 shows for youth audiences using youth actors. She also enjoyed singing, dancing, and acting on stage as a member of Richmond Civic Theatre. In addition to theatre, Kristy enjoys running, visiting Lake Michigan beaches, and spending time with her family. Kristy and her husband Brian (a student at NMC) have a 5 year old daughter, Annabelle. (more…)
