The Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College will present Letters Home on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 8:00 PM in Milliken Auditorium. Tickets are $25 in advance, $28 at the door, $22 for Museum Members plus a $2 processing fee. Join NMC President Tim Nelson today, Tuesday, October 22 at 4 p.m. in the Milliken Auditorium for an NMC Town Hall meeting. President Nelson will give a short update about things going on at the college and take your questions.
If you can’t attend the meeting in person, you can watch a live stream of the Town Hall at intranet.nmc.edu/video.
Due to the ongoing shutdown of the federal government and subsequent furloughing of National Parks Service staff, the Dennos Museum Center must cancel the Sunday with a Ranger program on October 20, 2013. Depending on the future availability of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore staff, the program may be rescheduled at a later date. (more…)

The NMC soccer club split a pair of matches this past weekend. On Friday, the team traveled to Big Rapids and defeated Ferris State University soccer club 1-0. On Sunday the team went on the road again and faced a tough Grand Valley State University soccer club, falling 5-0. (more…)

Host a TCAPS exchange student!
Curious about other cultures? Love to learn about places around the world? Have a spare bedroom? Host a Chinese student from TCAPS’ high school exchange program with Dalian University of Technology in Dalian, China. There are four male students still in need of host families. Hosts will receive a $200/month reimbursement to help offset costs. Both short and long term hosts are wanted.
