Thanks from the Father Fred Foundation

Cheri Garvin of the Admissions office reports staff at the Father Fred Foundation were overwhelmed at the delivery of coats and other winter gear donated at the NMC holiday party Dec. 12. Winter clothing was in such limited supply that client families had been limited to two coats. The 30 bags that Garvin delivered will help many Father Fred clients have a much warmer winter. NMC’s 5K course a great way to stay in shape this holiday season!

5kshirtOur 5K Course is continuing to be well maintained for safe passage, and Zack Light, course manager, would relish the opportunity to take any, and all for a run (or walk) on the course!  Remember, those completing the course will be awarded an AWESOME tee-shirt indicating their achievement!

And with Holiday Parties (and bad eating habits) abounding, take on the course and also contact Zack for any diet/nutrition questions for the Holidays, and (possible) prep for “New Years Resolutions.”

Zack can be contacted at: jlight@nmc.edu  or (231) 995-1154/(231) 995-1379 and by cell at (231) 946-4957 for inquiries/details. (more…)

These traumatic events were the catalyst that resulted in Jinwon creating imagery based on aquatic creatures and vessels able to survive in water. In their suspended state, as installed in the exhibition, they become for him floating self-portraits. (more…)
