Kudos to the following departments and individuals on campus!
Keith Overbaugh put in an enormous amount of time this summer to keep the Science Math Division running smoothly and getting things geared up for the upcoming semester. The time he put in was FAR IN EXCESS of the release time he receives for his obligations over the summer. He did so without complaint and is a huge asset, to both Science Math and NMC. I consider it an honor and a privilege to work with someone who cares so deeply about N MC and more importantly our students.
Fred Cook, Steve Fewins and Sandy Harrand were tasked with a request to polish the floors aboard the T/S State of Michigan, across all decks. They spent a lot of time cleaning and polishing the floors. The floors looked wonderful for the Welcome Aboard ceremonies of new cadets into the Maritime Program. Incoming cadets and their families were very impressed with the vessel.
