Jason Dake was recognized as employee of the semester for his work at the Dennos Museum.
Trustees approved the following items:
- A balanced budget for 2015-16 and tuition rates
- Repaving College Drive
- A purchasing card contract with Bank of America
- Engaging Smith, Haughey, Rice & Roegge for certain legal matters
- Applying for a grant with the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians
- Renewing the contract with SilkRoad human resources online service
The board went into closed session to discuss the collective bargaining negotiations.
The board went into a second closed session to review the performance of NMC President, Timothy Nelson. He received an overall rating of ‘Outstanding.’
