NMC joins the community in mourning Helen Milliken, wife of former Michigan Gov. William Milliken, who died at her Traverse City home Nov. 16, 2012. She was 89.
Longtime NMC supporter Art Schmuckal passed away at 91
Arthur M. Schmuckal (1921-2012) passed away, Wednesday, November 14. A longtime supporter of NMC, the building that houses the NMC University Center was named the Arthur M. and Mary E. Schmuckal Building in honor of their many contributions to NMC. Art was a member of the NMC Foundation Board since 1983, and Art and Mary were both named NMC Fellows in 1989.
