Josh Rogin International Affairs Forum NMC

The NMC International Affairs Forum, in partnership with the Economic Club of Traverse City, presents a special event featuring D.C.-based journalist Josh Rogin on Thursday, July 14 at the Hagerty Center. The event begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation will start at 6:30 p.m. with opportunity for public Q & A. This is a ticketed event which includes light appetizers and one beverage with ticket purchase. Few tickets remain for this IAF special event.

Josh Rogin is a columnist for the Global Opinions section of the Washington Post and a political analyst with CNN. He is also the author of Chaos Under Heaven: Trump, Xi, and the Battle for the 21st Century (Mariner Books, 2021).

Previously, Josh has covered foreign policy and national security for Bloomberg View, Newsweek, The Daily Beast, Foreign Policy magazine, among others. He has been recognized with the Interaction Award for Excellence in International Reporting and as a Finalist for the Livingston Award for Young Journalists.

Josh holds a BA in East Asian Studies from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs and studied at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife Ali Rogin of the PBS NewsHour.

On July 15, the Economic Club of Traverse City will host a lunch presentation at the Traverse City Country Club in partnership with IAF featuring PBS NewsHour foreign affairs producer and author Ali Rogin. This event is by invitation only, open to IAF members and guests of the Economic Club.
