What’s a “non-meeting”? It’s a meeting that requires no preparation – just show up at the Oleson Center on Monday, February 3rd at 3:30pm. It’s an opportunity to be curious with your colleagues.

The general topic for this gathering is the December NMC Scan which focused on several regional asset areas.  Advancements in unmanned systems emerged from Fresh Water and Value-Added Agriculture (two of the regional asset areas) as a key theme. Don’t worry, if you haven’t read the December Scan yet, you can still come, and we hope you will!

This non-meeting will focus on unmanned systems with Aaron Cook (Aviation), Hans Van Sumeren (Water Studies Institute) and Brian Matchett (MSU/NMC Applied Plant Science Program) on hand to discuss unmanned systems across air, water and land. We’ll learn more about this technology and discuss how NMC’s efforts in this area offers lessons in how we can increasingly collaborate across disciplines and how taking risks can pay off.

Join us for an interactive opportunity to explore new ideas with your peers.
