Student group JASWAG (Jane Adams Social Work Advocacy Group) is sponsoring a clothing drive called Beat the Heat! now through December 13th. They will be collecting new and gently used cold weather gear such as coats, gloves, hats, sweaters, boots, scarves, socks and blankets.
Drop boxes for the donations will be located at various departments and can also be brought directly to the Social Sciences department.
All donations will benefit the Women’s Resource Center and Boots for Kids.
