Learn more about a possible bachelor degree in freshwater studies.

NMC Great Lakes Water Studies Institute and Western Michigan University are working closely on developing a four-year Bachelor of Science in Freshwater Sciences and Sustainability that connects to our two-year ASA degree in Freshwater Studies.

The  interdisciplinary integrative program will provide students with the scientific knowledge and skills to address the complex regional, national, and global challenges related to the sustainability of freshwater resources and capitalizes on the fantastic research equipment and opportunities provided by the NMC Great Lakes Water Studies Institute. WMU is seeking approval on multiple levels for this program.

An information session on the Bachelor of Science in Freshwater Sciences and Sustainability program with Western Michigan University is being held Friday, November 8 at 3:10 PM at the Great Lakes Campus, Room GL-112.
