Michael Lingaur, Database and Research Specialist
“I was born in Traverse City and raised in the heart of Leelanau County. After graduating from Lake Leelanau St. Mary of the Assumption High School in 2004, I went on to Northwood University where I graduated in 2008 with an Honors B.B.A., dual majoring in Management Information System and Management. During my time spent at Northwood, I was fortunate enough to be a part of the Northwood University Football team as both a player and a coach. After college, I spent nearly four years in Plymouth, Michigan working as the Database Administrator for Container and Pooling Solutions, a Brambles Company. Now, I’m very excited to move back to Northern Lower Michigan and join the efforts of the Northwestern Michigan College Foundation in its mission to help support NMC provide lifelong learning opportunities to Northwestern Michigan.”
