The NMC soccer club split a pair of matches this past weekend. On Friday, the team traveled to Big Rapids and defeated Ferris State University soccer club 1-0. On Sunday the team went on the road again and faced a tough Grand Valley State University soccer club, falling 5-0.
GVSU improved to 12 wins and 1 loss on the season and have qualified for the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association Regional Championship. The NMC soccer club is now 5 wins and 2 losses on the season.
The NMC soccer club will play Davenport University Reserves this Friday at 7 pm in Grand Rapids.
