To Ann Dane, Scott Herzberg, Elizabeth Stevens, Kim Gourlay, Kelly Carlton, Georgenia Hromada, Debra Marx, Jessica Johnson, Chris Horvath, Heather Hale, Linda Berlin and Julie McAllister, who graciously volunteered to give up a Saturday to assist students and their families at the NMC Fabulous FAFSA Saturday workshop. This event was designed to help future and current students complete the Free Application for Federal Aid (FASFA) for the upcoming year.

To Judy Arnold for assisting students and their families after-hours at pre-arranged workshops with the FAFSA process.

To Linda Berlin who coordinated all the Financial Aid February events. She arranged for the volunteers, signage, etc., to insure we had a great event. In addition, she assisted students and their families after-hours at other pre-arranged workshops with the FAFSA process.

To Lori Hodek, Kristal Nolf, Lisa Molmen, Paul Martin, Bryce Turner, Allison Geisert, Kelly Zimmerman for launching Red Carpet, NMC’s new Orientation Software. They all put forth a lot of time and effort with a “let’s get it done!” spirit to meet deadlines. Kudos also to the countless others who pitched in to make this Orientation process more welcoming and effective for our new employees: Advising, Purchasing, Facilities, Tech Services, Educational Media Technologies, Office Managers…kudos to All!

To Linda Glaesmer who does a great job as liaison between the custodians and Central Scheduling, always taking the time to read work orders for the custodians and catches anything that is not clear or incorrect.  Linda is very good to work with. I don’t lose sleep wondering if a set up will be over looked. I can always count on her.

To Nicholeen Frusti who initiated and graciously set up each of our Upward Bound students with the PLATO software program, and compassionately provided an orientation for the students. Her expertise, combined with her personal stories, helped the students further understand the power and importance of education… and the importance of achieving their potential.

To Capt. Michael Surgalski upon his appointment as a Captain in the United States Maritime Service.

To Bob Mason who was awarded the prestigious Merchant Marine Award for Outstanding Achievement Medal.
