The latest NMC environmental scan (NMC Scan) is now available for your review!
This September Scan focuses heavily on three key NMC Planning Assumptions:
- Shift from Time to Competency Based
- Shift from Place Based to Content Based
- Shift from Knowledge Ownership to Knowledge Access
Additional topics covered are the assumption regarding education being seen increasingly as a private vs. a public good and technology and learning. Of course there’s also the Things to Watch section and new vocabulary. However, the other major component of this quarterly scan is the release of the updated planning assumptions which were reviewed by the Scan Team as well as Leadership Group before being published.
