The Les Biederman Building on NMC’s main campus will reopen tomorrow (Wednesday) after a structural engineer assessed the building and determined it is safe. Restrooms in the building will remain closed for now while facilities make any needed repairs.
Overnight, a custodian noticed an usual situation with tiles in the 2nd floor men’s restroom and alerted facilities. The college closed the building out of an abundance of caution to investigate the cause. The structural engineer did a thorough assessment of the building today and said it is safe and can be reopened to students and employees.
