To Ann Swaney who supervised the library’s student workers (Joe Berry, Shauna Quick, Olha Narolska, Caroline Land and Priscilla Liang) on the huge task of separating our old microfiche and microfilm from their paper envelopes and plastic reels for recycling. That’s 1,000 pounds of plastic and chemicals that will not go into the landfill!
To Joe Berry for doing everything he could to restore the computer in the Milliken Auditorium light and sound booth right before a 7:00 p.m. event in Auditorium. We appreciate his dedication to customer service to go above and beyond at a time when other colleagues were unavailable.
To Paul Perry who responded quickly to have an exhaust fan problem corrected in the Biederman Building, which made a very pleasant air-quality difference.
To Charlene Lutes who overheard another student and myself talking about not having eaten all day and didn’t bring any food. She offered to treat us for lunch. I am so greatful!
