Every year, Wayne Moody spends countless hours of his own time organizing the annual Mike McIntosh Memorial Car Show. He solicits area businesses for donations of prizes for the silent auction to raise money for student scholarships. In the current economy, this gets harder every year. It takes a huge effort to put the show together, and year after year he personally oversees every aspect of preparations. All of this takes place at the busiest time of the year – the beginning of fall semester.

I can honestly say that few people would be able to get this show off the ground. The participants of the show frequently comment on how much they love attending our event and how well it is organized. It’s an honor to be involved in helping Wayne put the show together year after year.
