Just a friendly reminder to students that Federal and State financial aid can ONLY pay for classes needed for your degree at NMC.
What should you do?
- Review your My Academic Plan (MAP) to see which courses you need for your degree. More information can be found here.
- Update your program of study (major), if necessary, using the Information & Program Change Form.
- Meet with your academic advisor or the Advising Center (231-995-1040 or advising@nmc.edu) to plan your courses for the coming semester and to make a PLAN to complete your degree.
- If you are completing your degree, apply to graduate, using the Intent to Graduate Form.

- Apply for NMC scholarships online as another way to fund your education.
- Establish a consortium agreement if you are transferring to another college. Contact Student Financial Services for more information on consortium agreements.
