The US Constitution influences our lives more than two hundred years after it was ratified.  Yet many Americans don’t know much about it.  That is why Congress established Constitution Day, a time to teach future generations about the foundation of our democracy.

Join NMC History Department faculty for a discussion forum at 6 p.m., Monday, September 17 in Scholars Hall Room 102.  Topics include:

  • Who really elects our president?
  • The Constitution, the election and you!
  • Did the Civil War lay the groundwork for the War on Terror?

All are welcome free of charge: students, staff faculty and the public.
