NMC students are invited to an open house at the NMC Fitness Center Thursday, August 30, noon-6:30 p.m.
In the new and improved facility, you’ll find new weight machines and spinning bikes, TVs to keep you moving, new carpet and fresh paint, a new welcome station, locker room improvements, expanded hours, and lower membership prices.
The NMC Fitness Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Rajkovich Physical Education Building. There’s always a fitness and exercise specialist available to assist you, and each membership begins with a fitness evaluation and instruction in proper use of all equipment which includes weight machine stations, cardio equipment, and dumbbells.
Hours of operation are Monday to Thursday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. NMC students (taking at least one credit class this fall) can enjoy unlimited use for the months of September through December for $50.
