Kudos to the following people and departments! If you know of co-workers who are going above and beyond, nominate them for kudos here!
Kudos to Linda Walter: Linda awarded a Fundamentals student the first “True Grit” award. Linda took it upon herself to go above and beyond to put together a special bag of items for the student, her daughter (who is critically ill) and family members that help out. This was an excellent example of Linda’s dedication to and support of students in the nursing program. Great job, Linda!
Kudos to Alison Collins, Margaret Fox, Jean Rokos, and Beckie Wooters: Kudos to Health Occupations Dental Assisting program for earning accreditation from the Commission on Dental Accreditation. This process took almost two years to prepare the report. The program is now accredited until 2022. Thanks to Alison, Margaret, Jean, Beckie, the Dental Assistant Program Advisory Board, and many NMC departments for assistance compiling information and data.
Kudos to Patty, Zach, Bob, Joel, Shawn, Jim, Mike, Fred, Linda, Robert, Sue, and Dean: The Great Lakes Culinary Institute staff went above and beyond to host almost 100 prospective culinary students at the Explore Your Major event on Saturday. They provided interactive demonstrations, samples of delicious foods and lunch for the next wave of culinary professionals. Thank you for the planning, organization and execution.
