NWHP-Logo-smallIn honor of Women’s History Month, the Osterlin Library in collaboration with Phi Theta Kappa and the Women’s History Project of Northwest Michigan is sponsoring a chance for any NMC student or staff to nominate a woman who you feel inspires and empowers others to make a positive difference in our community or in the world. All nominees will have their photo, along with a short rationale for their nomination posted in the library display case during the month of March (Women’s History Month).

Deadline for submissions has been extended to Friday, March 4. Please send your nomination in 250 words or less, along with a photo of your nominee, to aswaney@nmc.edu OR rereynolds@nmc.edu

Here is a chance to publicly acknowledge a woman who has positively impacted your life and who deserves recognition for her work. This is not a contest with winners but nominations will be vetted for display suitability. The National theme this year is “Honoring Women in Public Service and Government.” However this is not a requirement for your nominee.
