In defense of food cutoutThe Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College, in partnership with NW Michigan Food and Farming Network and Oryana Natural Foods Market, presents a free screening and panel discussion of In Defense of Food, the documentary film based on the #1 New York Times bestseller book of the same name. Join author Michael Pollan on a fascinating journey to answer the question: What should I eat to be healthy? Busting myths and misconceptions, the film reveals how common sense and old-fashioned wisdom can help us rediscover the pleasures of eating and at the same time reduce our risks of falling victim to diet-related diseases. In Defense of Food is made possible by the National Science Foundation and PBS. More information about the film can be found here: http://www.pbs.org/food/shows/in-defense-of-food
