Using NMC’s incredible collection of over 100 specimens, you’ll examine a broad variety of birds up-close and in your hands. We’ll compare different groups like ducks, hawks, songbirds, owls, and woodpeckers to see how they are well suited for their environments.

Students will choose from a variety of wood slabs – walnut, cherry, poplar, ambrosia maple, or pine – featuring curves, wane, and uneven shapes.
