Kudos to the following people and departments!
Kudos to Custodians Jim Gaylord, Craig Shattuck, Laura Mashburn, Jeff Sabins and Dennis Christopher!
In the course of two recent flooding situations, Jim, Craig, Laura, Jeff and Dennis went out of their way to stay on top of cleanup while the flooding was being addressed/resolved. This required teamwork among all shifts. Although I work third shift, these custodians not only took care of this work in addition to their assigned duties (requiring them to leave their buildings at last minute notice) but each assumed personal responsibility. This adds up to work well done, and performed with consideration enough to lighten the “next guy’s” burden every step of the way. It makes a world of difference to begin one’s shift by discovering that the opposite shifts have given a helping hand. Responding quickly and thoroughly to a flooding situation also curtails the damage done to NMC property. Thanks to all of the above!
